Early November 20, Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting of the land price evaluation council to discuss plans for adjusting and supplementing the province’s land price list for the 2020–2024 period. The meeting was attended by leaders of various departments agencies, and local authorities.
During the meeting, provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DoNRE) presented two options for adjusting and supplementing the new land price list. The adjustments are based on provisions outlined in the 2024 Land Law, Decree No. 71/2024/NĐ-CP dated June 27, 2024 by the Government, resolutions from provincial People's Council and decisions by provincial People’s Committee. The land price list is also compiled on the basis of popular land transfer prices on the market; results of comparing land prices set by provincial People's Committee with popular land transfer prices on the market; the situation of applying land price lists of all types from January 1, 2020 till now; the situation and investment plan for transport infrastructure in the province; contributive ideas from departments, sectors and People's Committees of districts and cities and current regulations on building and adjusting the price lists of land types. At the meeting, members of the land price list appraisal council focused on analyzing advantages, disadvantages and agreed on a plan while clarifying the causes and solutions to effectively implement the adjustment and supplementation of the land price list for the period 2020 - 2024 in the province.
Speaking at the meeting, provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh emphasized that adjustments and supplements to the price list of land types must be based on analysis and assessment of limitations and inadequacies in the process of applying the land price list while inheriting the current price list of land types to adjust and supplement to suit the actual situation of the locality, but still comply with the law and ensure stability.
He also requested that based on contributive ideas by delegates, provincial DoNRE and the working team of the land price list appraisal council should urgently review, adjust and supplement the local land price list in accordance with the provisions of the Land Law 2024 and other related regulations, ensuring land prices consistent with the local actual situation..., thereby soon completing the official report and submission to submit them to provincial People's Council for consideration and approval.
