Province absorbs additional US$ 324.4 million in FDI capital

Source from provincial Department of Planning and Investment said that in the first 4 months of 2024, the province lured additional US$324.4million in FDI capital, including US$228.8 million from 53 new investment projects, US$ 17.5 million from 20 capital adjustment projects, US$ 26.1 million from 32 capital contribution and share purchase projects.

So far, the whole province has attracted 4,280 FDI projects with total capital of US$ 40.6 billion. Particularly, the local industrial parks (IPs) have lured 2,794 projects with total capital of US$ 28.5 billion. There have been also 1,486 projects outside of the local IPs with total capital of US$ 12.1billion. In 2024, Binh Duong plans to attract about US$ 1.8 billion in FDI capital. For the local IPs alone, they will strive to attract US$ 1.2billion-US$1.3 billion. Before granting investment licenses, the local authorities have attached special importance to selecting and evaluating the feasibility of projects, resolutely rejecting the ones that have poor quality and are not appropriate to the local orientation.
