Binh Duong grasps 11 medals at 2017 national Vovinam strong clubs champs

The 2017 National Vovinam Strong Clubs Championship concluded in the central province of Ha Tinh on the afternoon of April 28.

As a result, Binh Duong’s sports delegation with 20 athletes ranked fourth at the tournament with 3 gold, 1 silver and 7 bronze medals. Particularly, Le Thi Xuan Mai grasped a gold medal in the women’s 54-kg weight category. The remaining 2 gold medals went to Trinh Vuong Gia Bao and Pham Truong Sa in the men’s 60-kg weight and 68-kg weight categories.

The tournament aimed to continue well serving the cause of national defence and construction while promoting the Vovinam movement in the country and making inspection on training for Vovinam in localities and units.
