Students of Dong An Vocational College attend national Vovinam tournament

The first national Vovinam tournament for students 2018 has just concluded at the sporting event hall of Can Tho University.

This year’s tournament absorbed nearly 500 students from 38 colleges and universities nationwide. They vied for 47 sets of medals in 2 events: combat and performance.

Among the 500 students, there were 5 came from Dong An Vocational College, namely Nguyen Ngoc, Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, To Thi Hong, Nguyen Quoc Khang, Pham Van Nam. Under the training of martial art instructor Mai Dinh Chien, Head Coach of the school’s Vovinam club, they excellently won a silver medal and 3 bronze medals.
