Traditional boat racing tournament kicked off

Dau Tieng district yesterday organized its traditional boat racing tournament 2018 with a 1,500-m distance, drawing the participation of 10 teams from Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd., Tan Uyen town, Cu Chi tunnel relic site in HCM city and communes in the district.

Finally, Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. excellently first prize. Thanh Tuyen commune’s Xom Ben hamlet, Tan Uyen town, Thanh Tuyen commune’s Xom Lam hamlet were second, third and fourth, respectively.

The race is organized annually by the district, aiming to promote the local sports movement and build up the local traditional cultural beauty.
