Local retail value up nearly 16%

The province’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services in June was estimated at more than VND18.41trillion, up 0.6% and 18.3% compared to the previous month and the same period last year.

Thus, the figure over the past six months was more than VND111.41trillion, up 15.8% and 49.4% compared to the same period or the year’s plan. Of these, the domestic investment sector reached more thanVND106.3trillion, up 15.8% while the foreign investment sector was more than VND5.08trillion, up 15.6%.

The above result came from the efforts by enterprises in participating in the provincial market price stabilization program and plan on stockpiling goods for the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2019. They also strengthened promotional programs, contributing to increasing the local total retail sales revenue of commodities and services.
