Over 27,000 traffic violation cases in first 2 months of year

According to statistics from provincial Traffic Safety Committee, in the first 2 months of 2024, through performing patrol and control tasks and implementing specialized topics, the province's functional forces discovered 27,084 violation cases of traffic safety and urban order; dealt with 24,663 cases with a total fine of over VND 64 billion.

Particularly, provincial Police Traffic Forces detected 26,922 violations, fined 24,635 cases, temporarily detained 5,826 driving licenses and 9,490 vehicles of all types. Through inspection and examination, provincial Department of Transport’s Inspectorate made 34 records and issued decisions to deal with 37 violations of the law on road traffic while revoking the right to use the transport business license for 1 case and the right to use the badge for a limited period in 4 cases.
