Phu Giao District gives gifts to disabled people having difficult circumstances

On November 30, Phu Giao District People's Committee organized gift giving to people with disabilities (PWDs) having difficult circumstances to celebrate International Day of People with Disabilities (December 3).

Accordingly, the District People's Committee gave 90 gifts to 90 PWDs living in Phuoc Vinh town (50 gifts) and Phuoc Hoa commune (40 gifts). Each gift was worth 500,000 VND. The total cost of the gifts was 45 million VND, funded by the district budget.

Every year, on International Day of People with Disabilities (December 3) and Vietnam Day of People with Disabilities (April 18), Party committees and authorities at all levels in Phu Giao district organize visiting and gifting giving to PWDs, providing spiritual motivation for PWDs to improve their lives, showing concern and care for PWDs, as well as ensuring social security policies for PWDs and disadvantaged groups.
