46 works proposed for 6th Huynh Van Nghe Literature and Arts Award

On the afternoon of January 20, Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee presided over a meeting held by the Organization Board of the 6^th Huynh Van Nghe Literature and Arts Award (photo).

At the meeting, leaders of provincial Literature and Arts Association reported the results of organizing this year’s award. It is known that the award is held every five years. This year’s award was launched from January 2016 to September 30, 2020, absorbing 172 authors in and out of the provinces with 2,337 works. Finally, the organizers proposed commendation for 46 works from 45 authors.

After discussing ideas from members of the organization board, Mr.Ha basically agreed with the report and proposition of provincial Literature and Arts Association. Also according to him, the awards ceremony, which is expected to take place in March 2021, needs to be held solemnly, contributing to promote and orient creation for works in literature and arts …
