Chinese wood enterprises learn about investment climate in Binh Duong

"On the afternoon of June 18, Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee received a delegation from the Chinese Research Institute and Furniture Industry Association. The delegation was led by Tong Bing Tang, Permanent Director of the Institute for International Cooperation and Exchange on Furniture Research under the “Belt and Road Initiative” and Zhan Xi Ming, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Furniture Association, in research of investment opportunities in Binh Duong province. The meeting was attended by leaders from various departments, Becamex IDC and provincial Wood Processing Association.

On behalf of the delegation, Tong Bing Tang mentioned that there is currently significant interest among Chinese wood industry enterprises in relocating investment, with Vietnam being a highly favored destination. As the capital of Vietnam's wood industry, Binh Duong offers substantial potential for Chinese enterprises to collaborate and invest in developing the wood industry.

Addressing the  meeting, Mr. Dung said that the province will create the most favorable conditions for partners, including Chinese wood industry enterprises, to invest in Binh Duong. The province will continuously accompany and support them with policies and investment in modern infrastructure to ensure a conducive environment for foreign businesses in general and wood enterprises in particular to invest, produce and conduct business in the province…
