Directive No. 31 on ensuring traffic order and safety for students implemented

On the afternoon of February 29, provincial Police Agency held a conference to implement a plan on the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 31/CT-TTG dated December 21, 2023 on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for students in the new situation and professional work to ensure traffic order and safety (briefly called Directive No. 31). Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency chaired the conference.

According to the Directive No. 31, all-level authorities and sectors focus on implementing fundamental solutions to minimize traffic accidents involving students and strengthen legal dissemination about traffic safety and order in schools to build up culture of self-awareness in compliance with the Road Traffic Law among students. The implementation of these measures must be carried out consistently, drastically and in accordance with the reality of each locality and each educational level. The local Traffic Police force strengthens patrol work, promptly detects and strictly handles violations and acts related to promoting violations, negatively affecting adolescents.

Regarding professional work, Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu implemented an inspection plan to rectify compliance with work procedures; deployed basic professional work, the Traffic Police force’s work of handling vehicles with administrative violations beyond the detention period.
