Provincial Project on “Preserving and upholding the value of “don ca tai tu” for 2018-2020

Early March 21, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference on the realization of provincial Project on “Preserving and upholding the value of “don ca tai tu” (southern folk music) for the period of 2018-2020.

The congress reviewed the local implementation of preserving and upholding “don ca tai tu” over the past time; extended a plan on carrying out provincial Project on “Preserving and upholding the value of “don ca tai tu” (southern folk music) for the period of 2018-2020.

The whole province now has 72 “don ca tai tu” clubs with more than 800 members. There are also 9 artisans awarded the “meritorious artisan” title. Under the plan, the province will support 36 “don ca tai tu” clubs and groups; improve the quality of 10 professional “don ca tai tu” groups and uphold the value of the art form. In addition, the province will disseminate “don ca tai tu” at all levels for lovers via the mass media…
