Ips absorb 97.6% of province’s total FDI capital

According to provincial Department of Planning and Investment, province-based industrial parks (Ips) in the first three months of the year attracted 31 newly-registered FDI projects worth US$777million and 12 extra-ones with US$535.8million. Thus, they absorbed more than US$1.3billion in FDI capital, or 97.8% of total FDI capital flowing into the province during the period.

Over the past time, the province constantly improved infrastructure facilities inside and outside Ips. The province also set aside clean fund, made investment in traffic infrastructure to develop another new Ips.

The province has to date had a total of 28 Ips in operation with 10,000 hectares and 10 industrial compounds with 707 hectares. The province has also continued making investment attraction at Ips, absorbing auxiliary and hi-tech industries…
