Province’s trade surplus in 7 months gains nearly US$3billion

According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s export turnover was estimated at more than US$2.6billion, up 18.2% and 17% compared to the previous month  and  the same period last year, respectively.

The province’s export-import value in the first seven months of the year was more than VND14.2billion, up 0.6% compared to the same period last year. Of these, the province’s import value was estimated at more than US$1.9billion, up 20% and 8% compared to the previous month and the same period last year. The province’s export value was more than US$11.23billion, up 4% compared to the same period last year. Noticeably, the province’s trade surplus was still maintained at nearly US$3billion amid Covid-19 pandemic.
