Trade surplus reaches more than 900 million USD over the first 2 months of the year

According to Binh Duong Customs Department, export turnover in February 2023 was estimated at over US$2,667 million, up 42.7% month-on-month and up 25.7% year-on-year. In which, domestic economic sector reached over 497 million USD, corresponding to an increase of 46.2%; FDI sector reached US$2,169 million, equivalent to an increase of 41.9%.

Up to now, export activities have returned to normal, and the province has implemented many solutions to support export activities, especially ensuring fast customs clearance of goods. Generally, over the first two months of 2023, trade balance of goods gained a trade surplus of US$905 million, of which the domestic-invested economic sector had a trade surplus of US$326 million, and the foreign-invested economic sector had a trade surplus of US$579 million.
