Binh Duong has 3 female citizens joining the army

In 2024, Binh Duong has 3 female citizens volunteering to join the army. They are Nguyen Thi Huyen in Phu Giao district’s Phuoc Sang commune, Huynh Thi Giang in Phu Giao district’s An Linh commune and Le Thi Thuy Linh in Thuan An city’s Binh Hoa ward.

All three female citizens have graduated from university. Among them, one was selected by the 429th Special Forces Brigade and two were selected by Brigade 94 under General Department II. These female recruits will receive 3 months of military training at the Military School of Military Zone 7.

In addition to the same general conditions and standards as selecting and calling male citizens to join the army, female citizens must have voluntary applications to serve in the military, approved by family representatives and communal-level People's Committees where they permanently reside and meet a number of specific conditions and standards. Accordingly, the age of female citizens ranges from 18 to 25 years old. If they have graduated from college or university, their age must be 27 years old. They are unmarried, have no children, meeting health standards level 1 and 2 under the provisions of the Ministry of Health - Ministry of National Defense’s Joint Circular No. 16/2016/TTLT-BYT-BQP dated June 30, 2016, with the height from 1.6m or more; balanced and cheerful appearance.

Regarding qualifications, they need to graduate from intermediate training or higher. Priority is given to citizens who have graduated from universities and colleges with training occupations suitable to the needs of the military. In case of talented female citizens, they shall comply with separate regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.
