Gifts, scholarships donated to poor-but-excellent pupils

On the occasion of the 2019-2020 new academic year, the Women’s Union of An Lap commune in Dau Tieng district has just offered gifts worth VND350,000 each, including schoolbags, notebooks, books… to 65 pupils at An Lap primary and secondary school.

This was one of practical activities done by the local Women’s Union, aiming to encourage the local poor-but-excellent pupils.

*The Study Promotion Society of An Phu ward in Thuan An town has also just coordinated with the ward’s Mobilization Board of the Fund for the Poor to award 101 scholarships worth more than VND11million, comprising of notebooks, schoolbags and cash, to the local poor-but-excellent pupils.

It is known that over the past years, the ward’s Study Promotion Society implemented socialization in talent & study promotion and received the attention of donors, thereby offering more help to the local poor pupils.
