Over 144,000 students from 6th to 12th grades to be vaccinated against Covid-19

According to statistics from provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET), the whole province has 144,386 students from 6^th to 12^th grades for the 2021-2022 school year. It is expected that these students will be vaccinated against Covid-19 by the end of October.

Under the local plan on Covid-19 vaccination for children, provincial DoET will cooperate with provincial Department of Health to vaccinate students at schools in accordance with the registered list. According to the vaccination schedule, priority will be given to students aged between 16 and 17.

In order to prepare for the vaccination, provincial DoET has directed schools to propagate and mobilize parents and legal guardians to bring students who are eligible for vaccination to schools on time and fully to get vaccination. Parents or legal guardians must sign vaccination consent forms in case of agreeing to vaccinate their children.
