Religious figures in Phu Giao district visited with gifts on Buddha Birthday Festival

On the occasion of Buddha Birthday Festival on the Buddha Year 2565 (calendar year of 2021), in the morning of May 15, leaders of Phu Giao district Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Committee made gift visits to religious figures at local Buddhism premises.

At the destinations, leaders of Phu Giao district extended health greetings to the monks, nuns and Buddhists, wishing them a peaceful and happy Buddha's Birthday Festival.Thereon, district leaders also recognized the contribution of monks, nuns and Buddhists to the development of the district, especially in the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control of over the past time. At the same time, they hoped that in the coming time, monks, nuns and Buddhists would always lead good lives, contributing to the construction of a stronger national unity block in the district, especially the continual joint hands at all levels of sectors to do well in the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

On behalf of monks, nuns and Buddhists, the dignitaries expressed their gratitude to the attention of Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially during Buddhism holidays and in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic in the current complicated developments. At the same time, they promised to actively mobilize monks, nuns and Buddhists to continue leading good religious lives under well implementation of the guidelines of the Party and policies and laws of the State, contributing to more development of the district.
