Gifts donated to poor households

Tan Uyen town’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just coordinated with the People’s Committees of Bach Dang and Thanh Hoi communes to offer 180 gifts worth between VND200,000 and VND300,000 each, including rice, instant noodle, seasoning powder, sugar, cooking oil and fish sauce, to the local needy households.

The charity program has total cost of VND44million, funded by the families of Tran Kim Tai and Nguyen Chi Trung residing in Tan Hiep ward’s Tan Binh quarter and Khanh Binh ward’s Khanh Van quarter.

*The Women’s Union of Phu An commune in Ben Cat town has just presented 166 gifts worth VND250,000 each to the local disadvantaged women.

It is known that the charity program has total cost of VND41million, funded by the local units, individuals and enterprises. The above gifts not only encourage the local poor women to rise in life, but also express the great value of the “good leaf covers the bad one” moral principle.
