Particularly, the local youths held a ceremony to hand over a house of compassion to the family of Dieu Thi Thang in Dak O commune’s Bu Kho village in Bu Gia Map district in Binh Phuoc province. The 45-sq.m house has a total construction cost of VND60million, including VND50million from the local youths and the remainder from the family. At the ceremony, the family was also presented meaningful gifts.

In addition, the delegation visited and extended Tet greetings to officials and soldiers at Dak O border post while wanting them to firmly protect national border areas. The delegation also had a chance to visit the border maker No.62 between Vietnam and Cambodia to know more about the national sovereignty.

In the framework of the program, the local youths took part in a cultural-sports exchange under the theme of “warm border region” and offered a housing work to officials, soldiers at Dak O border post with a total expense of VND80million; carried out a “winter volunteer” and “spring volunteer” program with 25 gifts worth VND500,000 each given for policy beneficiary families and needy pupils in Dak O commune.
